Food Safety Coordinator

Our Laredo, TX Distribution Center, a 193,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7 is currently seeking a Food Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this newly created role you will serve as the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Practitioner, responsible for the coordination and maintenance of the Food Safety & Food Quality System (FSS) activities for our greenhouse grown produce ( tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers).
We’re looking for a Food Safety Pro with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a food safety inspection/quality assurance in a food manufacturing environment. We would prefer someone with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or a related field. They must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and have and maintain a valid Passport, and be able to successfully complete a background and drug screening. Being bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
