Hanover Foods Corporation, Centre Hall, Pa. is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor. This position will work as part of a cross functional team at the plant to achieve the implementation of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMPs, HACCP/Preventative Controls, food safety/training, product quality, food security, FDA & USDA guidelines and requirements, pre-requisite programs, quality systems, micro lab testing, etc. Manage all plant Quality Assurance functions to oversee, record, report and initiate actions as required to meet Company specifications. The Quality Supervisor will take immediate action to correct any factors that negatively affect product quality, plant sanitation or housekeeping. Assist in managing the day to day operation of the Quality Lab at the Centre Hall location. Ensures regulatory compliance and Quality Policies and Procedures are correctly implemented.

Job Requirements

The qualified candidate will have a four year science degree in Food Science or related field, one to three years relevant experience, HACCP/PCQI Certified, GFSI/BRC experience, knowledge of microbiological testing and evaluation skills/technology, working experience in a food manufacturing facility, and the ability to make sound decisions and a proven ability to solve problems quickly, completely and concisely.
